Day 9

Picture of your best friend

My best friend is my sister Julie. We have done so many things together. I wrote a poem about her I will have to see if I can find it and post it. Julie really understands me and knows everything about me :) I can tell her anything and know that she will listen and she will always add her two cents. We roomed in college together and she helped me so many times with homework that I was having a hard time with or just boy problems. We have had many adventures together and I can't wait for the many more we will have.
This picture was taken at the first Women of the Outdoors that we went too. We had so much fun and made some really cute stuff. It rained all night the first night and we thought for sure the tent was going to float away lol. I love that we can talk about anything even on the phone and I love it that Becca and Kai are such good friends. Becca loves to talk and play with Tay too and he is such a great kid.
I wish we lived closer together so that we could hang out and our kids could hang out. Growing up we always said we wanted to live close by and have kids around the same time so they could be great friends like us. Thanks for everything Julie you really do understand me. Your the best lots of love

Our Game
Cowboys and Indians we did play
but to many it did not seem the right way
the Indians were our friends you see
enemys to us the cowboys would be
we shot bows and rod around
in a world where only children were found
Bluebell and Redleaf were our names
oh how we loved playing this game
war cries and Indian drums were heard from high
the adults ignored it with a sigh
oh the fun we had those days
when everything was going our way
